Hello All,
After reading lots of success stories with the 5850 and the 5870, I decided I would try hackintosh once again Cheesy (Now that I have a macbook it makes things alot more easier). Anyway....
After doing all the necessary updates to get myself to 10.6.7. I installed these exact drivers from a post I read not so long ago.

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?s=c3595b3eec6a163454f0213fc497b211&showtopic=224063&view=findpost&p=1564815

After doing a reboot It worked into life with my dual displays. The only issue now Is QE/CI, I've changed the names in the frame buffer but I have fount the current one I'm using seems to work the best so far.

It detects the card perfectly Including the correct amount of V-ram. But It also doesn't mention anything about it not working....

Cheers

Its a XFX 5830 XXX 840MHZ edition.

Cheers
