I read somewhere in the insanelymac forum that in the original macbook, the EFI is in charge of doing the speedstep feature of the processor. Will PC_EFI ever support native speedstep for hackintosh? I mean, is it theoretically possible? Because the PC_EFI and vanilla kernel method as today is not so laptop-friendly. The fan is always on and the battery discharge so quickly in my laptop when I use PC_EFI + Vanilla kernel.

Any info?
