As you know OpenGl (core Animation) isused VERY extensevely in Apple Motion, (Apple DVD used it too) With 10.5.1 and G80 (geforce Nvidia 8800 GTS cards) the system freezes on Motion and is generally slower than my Geforce 7900gs....

Anyone have tested the new 10.5.2drivers with apple motion? (its not a just run test, is more like n stress test)

Thankyou very much

10,5,2 drivers are still BETA so I would not use them for any real GPU rendering. I can now use a 8600GT with 10.5.2 drivers but I'm having a few issues and system freeze with very simple benchmarks, so I believe it could even happen with Apple DVD player with Core Image handling overlay, transparency and deinterlacing...
So IMHO, you should wiat for 10.5.2 final update before starting using a GeForce 8 on full time basis...
