Hello netkas and keep up the good work Smiley
I watch closely the updates to pcefi ,now i see that in some cards you can bypass the natit kexts and get qe/ci with the help of pcefi.
CAn this be the beggining for all the gfx cards?
or 1st they should be corrected installed via natit/titan or whatever
and then you can help with the pcefi?
i want to know if this would be also a good way to make 8800GT works  Shocked
we need qe/ci badly!
as you would know the difference is the G92 chipset but there are hopes ,apple will add this card in the new mac pro.

Thankz

G92 (8800GT) has no drivers in OSX currently
so this guys have to wait till G92 comes to macpro

8400-8600 - this cards jsut doesn't work, god knows why, but drivers don't want to make initialization for those cards. whatever i and other guys tried - no go.

hello everyone
even if there's no much hope for running a g84 i tried to put a 8600gt (0x0402) on a mac pro (dual dualcore xeon) and load nvidia.efi via refit shell and then boot osx to get NVCAP and other values.
problem was the nvidia.efi i have is a from a mbp rom so 32bit maybe the reason why it never wanted to load in shell.
see there : http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=619ac1442c405dcc77e86e597bdca517&showtopic=53052&st=1440&#entry538024

is there a 64bit module existing and where to get, dump, extract it ??
or am i totally wrong  Roll Eyes ??

thx
.klimo.
