Hello all,

I been hitting a brick wall with this.

I have a Dell E1505 Laptop. which I cant really use with out sleep, I need to be able to close the lid and forget it.

Originaly I had X1400 in it and sleep didnt work, so I went out and got a Nvidia 7300, which works over all better (i got native resoution 1680x1050) but still when I close the lid nothing happenes and when I press sleep the screen goes off, but laptops Bluetooth light is on and I hear fans (and maybe the hard drive) and then I cant get it back up (have to turn it off then back on) I been reinstalling Leo for 3 weeks now. I`m using the powermanagment bundle (http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=14912) and NvijectGO drives (GFX strings didnt work for me) everything else works out of the box the sound had to be patched using the AppleHDA patcher by taruga, tried all the kernels sleep, speedstep(vanilla doesnt work, reboots) I just dont get why it doesnt work. I`m just at a lose here, some people are reporting that it works, that they get sleep, but everything I tried doesnt do it. Please help.

Could you run ioreg on your command line and copy/paste the results up here?  I suspect it may also be related to a common Dell BIOS issue that I have been attempting to develop a workaround for.
