speedstep SSE2

I know that Toh team are more involved in PC_EFI thing but I am very curious. Did you plan to take any effort to make speedstep on SSE2 working? By this, you will make SSE2 users dream come true.

there are speedstep kernels for sse3, for sse2 is only sleep kernel there was speedstep in 10.4.8 from semthex some time ago but it was lagy not usable in real work

Also u can find sse3/sse2(unversal) kernel which should be able to sleep(even on sse2) if ur hardware sllows to sleep with osx. this kernel can’t make speedstep

I check 10.5 channel and there are kernels as follow

9.1.0 speedstep/intel/amd/sse3 kernel
9.0.0/speedstep sse3 kernel
sse2 10.5.1/10.5 kernel
9.1.0/9.0.0 sleep sse3/sse2 kernel

With one has speedstep. I am talking about SSE2 not SSE3 kernel

Unfortunately I can't test this kernel, ToH RC2 reboot when booting, Must wait for iatkos.

Can someone confirm that speedstep on SSE2 works without "slowdown" on Leopard
