I have a two video cards 8800GT and 9500GT that I would like to flash to MAC. The problem is that both cards don't have big enough roms, so I would like to replace them with the correct roms. I have never replaced the roms before, but I do have a AOYUE 968 rework station. My question is, where do I buy 1MB ROM chips, I cannot find them on ebay, all ebay has is 8MB to 32MB spi flash chips, which are too expensive. What temperature should I use to remove the old rom chip and solder on the new rom chip? How do I go about programming the blank rom chip, can I just boot off a second video card and flash the chip, or do I need a special programmer to do the trick?

Any input from someone who has done this before would be greatly appreciated!
