Hi guys,

we bought recently new Mac pro with two 2.4GHz Quad core processors and than found out that we need for our purposes different processor [very clever], with as many GHz per core as possible. We use it for making music and music software is made that way. What we would like to do, if possible, is to change the processors for one 6 core 3.33GHz. Can you please someone advice, if it is possible to put this 6 core CPU in one slot and to leave the other empty? I think it is possible to switch it with two 6 core CPUs but am not sure about one.

Thanks lot
