hi everybody!

my usb soundcard has its own macdriver and works perfectly as long as I don't install, natit or nvinject! I even tried gfx strings(not exactly the for my specific one but it worked, building my own is still a little high for me)!
I also tried kalyway, leo4all, tiger 10.4.10, retail install, different updates and all with the same issue, namly having glitches(pops and clicks) on the outputsound!(i recorded something throu it and the file seems to be free of glitches, at least with vanilla kernels)

do you have an idea were this issue could come from?

would be very grateful

toshiba laptop
CPU: Intel Core Duo T2250 / 1.73 GHz; BusSpeed (533 MHz?)
chip: Mobile Intel 945PM Express
Memory: DDR II SDRAM - 533 MHz
GFX: NVIDIA GeForce Go 7300
HDD: 120 GB - Serial ATA-150 - 5400 rpm

important update to the upwards!

I found out, that when I minimize the witndow of the application that gives me the sound output (e.g. quicktime player,...) there are no more clicks & pops!

is my system lacking of something? is it the gfx driver? a memory issue? a cpu issue?

I'm endlessly thankful for help!!

all I had to do is to remove the geforce kext!
Cheesy
maybe you can tell me what was interfering there!
----------
edit:
I was wrong, by removing the geforce.kext, I only got QE disabeld but CI remaind!
for installing a certain application I need QE/CI but one part of that app works with only CI while the other needs QE! rrrrrrrr
but now I know for sure(i think Cheesy) that it is QE working that bugs my sound card!
but WHY? weird!
