Has anyone done a port of the linux app nvclock to OSX? It should be pretty simple -- it would require a helper kext similar to the lspci port to map the nvidia registers into userspace. If not then I'll start one.

Why? nvclock gives lots of interesting info about the configuration of the nvidia chipset including the ability to under and over clock the gpu/vram.  I'm interested in this because I need to find out the configuration of the nvidia chipset under the normal AppleTV OS (OSX) operation. I've just solved the xvmc hang/video corruption issue under linux by underclocking the gpu from 360MHz to 200MHz and I want to see how it's configured under OSX.

CUDA, not cuba

It's here http://www.nvidia.com/object/cuda_get.html

Anyway, I doubt it's helpfull, it's for GPU 3D programming, not the whole hardware, this info is closed.
