My Thunderbolt Display does not work with the 765m. I'm pretty sure it was plugged into the first (closest to USB) ports but I'll try it again.
My other Thunderbolt devices (HDD's, Dock) work fine.
Also, I got no display in Windows 10 Bootcamp. Do I need to install the Nvidia drivers before booting with that card?

Did Rominator fall off the face of the earth?
yes, in fact I did but with the depressing state of Mojave and Web drivers, i may finally have time to re-open this can of worms did somebody else already figure it out?

Before asking a question, check your "Personal Settings" and be sure that you have "Brain Services" set to "On".

I scored a 2012 base 27" iMac (i5 2.9GHz GTX660M 16GB). I'm gonna upgrade it to an i7-3770 and 768GB blade SSD and call it a day. Anybody need a 780M, 770M, 765M or some Dell 2GB 6970M's or Dell 7970M's?

Hi,
Any news on a modified "Mac" ROM for the GTX 765M or similar please? We have so many of these 2011 iMacs to save... :-(

Hi guys,
trying to revive the topic here.
Any Idea which card is compatible with a mid 2010 imac and supports metal?
Cheers

Hey Rominator,
Since it seems flashed PC MXM cards look unlikely to ever ship from macvid cards and the 27" 2009/2011 iMacs are getting very long in the tooth, how about open-sourcing the roms you have developed so far and letting the community take a crack at finishing the work?
I’ve got a much-loved vintage 2009 27” iMac with a partly dead HD4850 512 MB GPU (no acceleration) and a new old-stock Dell Alienware M17x R1 R2 AMD Radeon HD 4870 1 GB GPU. I also have the MXM-PCIe hardware adapter and Rpi to flash the Alienware MXM to a mac efi rom, but I don’t have a rom.
I’m a hardware guy and not into firmware but if I could read some background and get pointers in the right direction, maybe I could build a rom to keep both this old 27" Mac and the Alienware card out of landfill.
So you know the next question! Is this a doable proposition from your PoV, or do you see it as stealing your work? From my PoV, why build the wheel twice when a lot of the work has been done (by you) already. The rest of us could stand on the "shoulders of (you and Netkas) giants" to see a little further (apologies to Newton).
