in general this is a valuable experience.
it can be useful to all who wish, extend the life of your imac.  .
Rominator,  special thank for your work, and a significant contribution to everything.  .

At the moment, work is underway to upgrade the 6970M video card with video memory expansion to 4096.
you will be the first to know about the results.  whether it's good or bad.  .

There is still a space plan, at 8970M which speaks of itself "- I can work in imac", in theory everything indicates this.  for example from

AMD7000Controller.kext - device id 68c1.

so intresting that, FrameBuffer is - pitcairn

How do you think Rominator, EFI part from Desktop Video Card "Pitcairn" theoretical can be approached?  and whether it will be necessary to edit the device id already in the Decmpressed EFI part.
