I even saw safari act with it. I was able to install the 105 one over it. Everything seems to be normal again.

The Web Driver 387.10.10.15.15.108, pulled by Nvidia works fine for the High Sierra Security Update 2, build (17G3025).  I saw a reference to that on another site.  This morning I cloned my boot drive, and tried it.  And it works just fine!

No it doesn't! I tried it with MVC flashed 1070 and everything was flickering on screen and hanging.

^^^^I beg to differ.  I'm running it right now.  Mac 5,1, MVC flashed GTX1080!  I would not post if I had not done it myself.

Are you sure you're using the 108, not the 105 driver?  And did the driver load?

don't use the 108 driver, it's still a crap driver

use 105 and modify build. 108 has nothing but bugs you just haven't ran into them yet. maybe you don't really use metal apps very much yet (no fortnite, WoW, recent feral ports, etc)

if you do use metal accelerated apps, 108 can cause pretty severe crashes. Making 105 work is SUPER simple anyways.

I just hope if they do release an update, it'll be based on stable code and not a continuation of 108 or I'll happy stay with 105.

^^^^I've been using the 108 web driver along with Cuda 410.130 since they was first released.  I've had absolutely no issues with either.

looks based on same code as 105.

10.10.10.40 and not 10.10.15.15 which was the unstable 108. that's encouraging. was worried they'd use that unstable code for the new one.

The new driver for HS is WebDriver-387.10.10.10.40.108. I didn't find the NVDAGV100HalWeb.kext that was in the WebDriver-387.10.10.15.15.108  which is needed for the Titan V (Volta) so I'm not sure if the titan V will work. It may work using the newer driver by changing the version in NVDAGV100HalWeb.kext to  the latest version number. I haven't tried it yet. No time. I have gotten my 2018 MBP to work with the titan V(sonnet breakaway 650) . I have uploaded my Geekbench benchmarks for my 2018 MBP. I'm having trouble getting my iMacPro to use the titan V. Its recognized in the system report & so far I have only got  Geekbench to recognize it. I have uploaded the one titan CUDA benchmark I ran on my iMac Pro 64 meg, 10 core, Vega 56. My gtx1080 is recognized and used..
