I've got nMP 6,1 running them on Win 8.1 with Nano right now.

Will post 3DMark shortly.

Anyone else try them?

Do you have anything about XConnect in system tray? similar to http://images.anandtech.com/doci/10133/AMDDriver.jpg

amd said one needs at least windows 10 10586 to activate xconnect

update: just tried 290x with mini. Can't even install amd drivers, says unsupported system. Can only install display driver via control panel.

Anyway, R9 290x has still on old issue of freezing after some time due to being used in x4 pcie port.

Hmm, I was having trouble getting nMP 6,1 and Win 10 play nice with eGPU So went back to Win 8.1.

Now that I have settings figured out I will make a clone of the working setup and try Win 10 again.

Finding how to do stuff (the first time) takes lots of time and testing.

Reading the details here make it seem unlikely but worth a shot.

Yeah, there is a guy who posts "cracked" Radeon drivers for nMP Bootcamp I got earlier one from him.

I was able to install full driver after I got the basic one on card.

When are we going to see some sort of eGPU solution from you, Rominator? I'd love to be able to hook something like this up to my Mac Pro.
