Im running GA-P67-UD7-B3.  I just got my ASUS 6970 back from RMA.  Which is Brand New!!!!  I was using Nvidia Quadro 4000 for Mac temporarily in Hackintosh.  I finally fix my Mac Pro and put Nvidia back in it.  To make long story short, i was having issues posting when i tried netkas drivers.  I wasn't sure if it was cpu or VGA.   I replace return old cpu for i7-2700k & RMA 6970,

I just got system up and running and i use Tony Mac's UniBeast to make USB stick,  I meant to boot to windows and i had USB connected and forgot to hit f12.  So it loaded and booted installer with out drivers from Netkas, which i was surprise to see happen..  After install USB, Im not able to load OSX, just get grey screen with spinning wheel.

I've been out loop for 6 weeks and little confuse on what i need to do.   I prefer to use chameleon and install to EFI using kernel cache.   Anybody with Sandy Bridge Gigabyte board point me in right direction? Any help would be appreciated.
Boot into Windows, install MacDrive and then follow Netkas' instructions with the drivers

I know how to install..  My question is what exactly is needed to make card work properly.   How does Tony Mac new Chimra in UniBeast boot USB installer perfectly.  Did he steal drivers from here and add them?  Last time i to use RomCreator for ATI/AMD cards and flash it?   Does this still apply?   what im trying to figure out.   if anybody could post com.chameleon.Boot.plist with similar board would be awesome too...

You can get it from 10.7.2 update.  Download pacifist from here http://www.charlessoft.com/, use it to open .mkg and extract .kext to your desktop.

Because these are patched drivers and currently its the best you are going to get until apple release official support for the 6900 series cards (assuming you are using a 6900 series card?).

Here is patched binary of kext.

http://rghost.ru/20594481

disables uvd on anything from 6xxx

Amazing mindblowing work on the driver...I have installed the driver and the files listed on netkas.org, but what is this file referenced for? and how do I install a binary of kext?

Read the forums - all of the instructions are there along with links to a package that will do everything but 'search' for you!

Friendly advice - If you have a post count of 2 and demonstrate a total lack of will to search the forums in order to help yourself before posting to ask others for help you will not get much assistance.

Finally I found a solution. First of all before to install Andys native pkg. I deleted all ATIRadeonX3000 kext and bundle (4 files on extension directory) Then installed native package and first boot with PCIRootUID=1.

Had a quick try last night and no go for me, I end up with a white screen and the spinning beach ball.
I will have another go tonight after reapplying the 10.7.2 update just in case anything was messed up prior to installing the 2 files.

Work on clean 10.7.2 install using Tony Mac's UNIbeast.  On reboot after install, i pull drive and use USB to PCIe adapter to patch drivers on MacPro.  Rebooted using UNIbeast use "-v PciRoot=1 GraphicsEnabler=No"  it loaded on 1st try.

Nice Work NetKas!!!!
