So it works with Pike's boot.efi!
Only thing necessary is set rootless=0 in com.apple.Boot.plist to be able to replace boot.efi.
Or use a second OS to do that.

Few % of an improvement in OpenCL: 280X scored 2400 in Luxmark before, now it goes to 2600.
OpenGL still 4.1, like netkas said on his blog.

metal would still depend on GPU though no. Netkas said for example AMD 7000 or later, so a stock 5870 from mac pros wouldn't initialize metal, just OpenGL, but still run 10.11
