Hi Folks

im getting desperate. Im searchin for a working efi-String for my 8600m GT. I tried the 8600 GT-String from efistudio but it didnt get my QE/CI working. Hope you can help me to find a way.

Is there any way to generate my own HEX-File for my 8600m GT? I can use the 8600 GT-File but QE/CI is not working then!

there is a way to generate the hex string, but i tried it, at least on my XPS M1530's 8600m GT. I did everything in the instructions, got the string, placed it on my com.apple.boot.plist, repaired permissions and got rid of nvinject (and any other stray enablers). The card was identified in system profiler, but I lost QE/CI. At the time, I was running iAtkos 10.5.6. I erased the string and put back my enabler and I got QE/CI back. What could be causing this?
