Hi.

    My Sound Card is ALC861-vd(id:8086,2768), I used GFXUTIL to get a String and put it into com.apple.boot.plist, but there is a problem, though there is sound coming out, i still have no volume control, can anyone tell me why ?(I'M USING THE MOBIN APPLEHDA.KEXT)

Can i understand like that : if the third part drivers work perfectly then it will be perfectly working by using GFX STRING?

HELP!PLZ.....

Hi

You have to delete AppleAzaliaAudio.kext
I have ALC861 too
It is working for me
I have strings for garphics, sound, and ethernet made with efistudio
