this one was for 256Mb version so you can try changing the VRAM,totalsize DATA, but it will probably not work anyway...
Also it has my display EDID so you may want to replace with yours as mine is 1440x900

Coud it work for 6600, I made my dump with NVinject installed.

the only issue I have with v8 of EFI is that I have hangs when it is installed so I use v5 instead, and this happen on both of my hackintoshes, one AMD and the other Intel so I have no clue what could it be.

I believe I have EFIRuntime kext installed. I can post script for
 kexts removing/installation  which I used right after ToH_RC2 installation.

but it will probably not work anyway...

@Thrawnhex:  My GFX5500 is a PCI (not PCIe or AGP) card.  I tried the string you made for me - no joy.  When I boot I hit F8 and entered -v -f parameters. When it finishes with the kext scan it prints a message about "errors when booting - waiting 5 sec."

Then it boots in a vga-1280x1024x24 mode because that's what is in the Boot.plist.

I expected to just get a text document with the string that I need to add to my install but everything I've downloaded doesn't match that. Could you point me to a simple tutorial on how to use the files that Thrawnhex has provided? I have a 7300gt.
