Got it working, no patch needed, msaa works

will wait for /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/GPUSupport.framework before giving details

netkas in your blogpost you mentioned drivers.
Which one are those?
Do you just have to install the MBP update or...?
And where did you get the rest from?

Oh this is sweet sweet news, been waiting for months to be able to fit my 6970 and leave it in, rather than keep swapping back to the 5770's!

The fun is going be be finding the framebuffer to run 3 screens all at the same time..... hopefully thats something else thats been fixed, fingers crossed.

So we going to be able to enjoy these cards in Lion and ML with hopefully no significant issues and on hackintosh ? Can't wait to give it a try Smiley

keep up the fine work.

/System/Library/Frameworks/OpenGL.framework
/System/Library/Frameworks/OpenCL.framework
change kext also not work for me still gray screen.

here is pkg with files working for me, with ati and nvidia drivers

Still only goes to software render not sure if i did something wrong Sad or do the files need editing.

Edit:
Ok Figured it out your installer is not installing the GPUSupport.framework properly had to borrow that folder from my DP2 install and move the versions folder into it then all is perfect.

BTW much love netkas finally i don't need to mess around with 10.8 anymore and as a added bonus no cold boot bug <3
